I visited this wonderful family a few days after Christmas to do mom's maternity pictures ...

 His three big sister's were anxiously awaiting his arrival ...

So, some good news and some bad news ...

Two weeks ago I sent out my spring newsletter announcing that I was now booking toddler sessions for April and May. My plan was to give everyone on the mailing list first pick of session dates before I was "officially" taking appointments. The bad news is that is you didn't sign up for the mailing list, you missed it! All of the openings for April and May have been filled.

The good news is that you can still get on the waiting list for April/May or you can email me at kelli@kellidease.com to get on the mailing list (and get first pick of summer dates).

As always, if you are interested in a newborn session please email me and I will do my best to squeeze you in!

Introducing Baby 'M' | Connecticut Newborn Photography | Kelli Dease Photography

I was lucky to meet and photograph this little girl right before I left for vacation. She was about three weeks old at her session, which is a little older than 'normal' for newborn pictures, but she cooperated beatifully!

I will be working on the rest of the photos this week, but here are a few of my favorites so far:

A few things ...

I am off on vacation until the 15th (and very excited to get the heck out of this cold and snow for a week!). All calls and emails will be answered promptly upon my return!

I am also excited to announce the new packages for the spring (think digital!) and am just finalizing a few of the details. Finally, a few more maternity pictures to share. This beautiful mom-to-be was due yesterday but baby has yet to make an appearance. I know how that feels. Hang in there!

Lots of Babies on the Way | Connecticut Maternity Photography | Kelli Dease

While I miss getting outside and chasing toddlers around the park (and also, 80 degree days), I am really enjoying all of the maternity and newborn clients that I've had lately. It's a nice, relaxing change of pace. Here are a few favorites from a session that I had right after Christmas. I had back to back sessions with the most gorgeous moms that day, so I will post some pictures from the second session soon.

 

 

Happy (Belated) Holidays!

Where has the time gone? I had so many updates that I meant to post and a bunch of sneak peeks that I never quite got to, and here it is 2009 already!

First of all, I'd like to thank all my fantastic clients for making 2008 such a great year. I hope to see you all again as your children grow.

Second, I am technically on hiatus through the cold winter months, but am still booking maternity and newborn sessions. I will resume a full schedule in the early spring.
